Dear Colleagues,

We’d like to announce the launch of our new website educationagentreviews.com.  We’ve created this website to collect information about all the international higher education partnerships possible, including agents, fairs, and products/services.    There are already over 200 possible partners listed.  Here’s the best part:  Universities like yourself can leave reviews and star ratings for each one.

And there is a private, password-protected message board for universities only where you can discuss agent management best practices or ask for suggestions from colleagues.

As the website is user-generated content, we’d like to invite you to visit and leave feedback for your current agents/partners.  We will only be as good as our contributors!  If we haven’t yet uploaded their names,  just email us or use this form http://educationagentreviews.com/add-listing/  to suggest a partner and we can upload their information within the next few days so that you can leave your feedback and star rating.

It’s my hope that with enough reviews, agents will then be able to refer potential clients to this website as an example of happy peers, rather than having to invest your time by making you emailing references individually.   Or if you’re on the requesting side of references, you can now simply refer requests for references to your statements on the website.

I’ve set up the website so that only reviews with a .edu email address can be published (as well as being invisible to non-logged in users), to preserve the integrity of the website.  And we never share your email address or contact information with agents – you can read more about our Code of Ethics on the website.

This website has been a dream of mine ever since realizing universities really rely on peer recommendations in choosing their partners and agents.  It’s my hope that we can revolutionize the higher education product market by rewarding our successful agent/partners with good reviews and spreading the word about fantastic partnerships.   It’s also my hope that a dedicated forum / message board for universities only will allow both experienced and new higher education professionals the outlet to network from the comfort of their own offices, rather than relying on some of the many useful but only annual conferences available.

I invite any collaboration possible by submitting your reviews,  writing a guest post for our blog,  sharing this email with colleagues, offering feedback, or sharing interesting links/articles on our message board with colleagues.    I envision educationagentreviews.com  as a mini-community of universities who all wish to improve their agent collaboration/partnerships.

In addition to the home page, you can also go directly to http://educationagentreviews.com/are-you-a-university/ , our landing page for universities where we explain our vision and how to use the website.

Sincerely,
